What does an Integrative Medicine Consultation Look Like? In the initial consultation, we do a deep dive into the patient’s medical history, emotions, and lifestyle. We allocate a minimum of 1 hour for this appointment. We take the time to listen. Expect more than what the conventional healthcare system offers. We give our undivided attention and dedication to each patient. Each plan is unique and designed specifically to you. Things to expect: Review of detailed questionnaire & health evaluations Discussion of lifestyle, environment, and stressors Dietary Recommendations Review of any current lab work Order of lab test What do I get? Detailed Treatment Plan Individualized Chinese Herbal Prescription Recommendations on supplements and nutraceuticals Recipes, Detox Protocols, or Gut Repair Protocols Functional Medicine Lab Analysis (Blood draw is additional cost to lab) After the first consultation, we will do a follow up appointment in 3 weeks to review lab work & discuss the implementation of your treatment plan. Most ailments can be addressed within 5 sessions. For complex, chronic disorders more appointments may be needed. If we can not treat your condition, we will offer our honest opinion and refer you to the appropriate healthcare provider. Treatments are designed to complement conventional medicine practices. Our services work in conjunction with Western therapies and we are happy to work alongside your other medical providers.
